‘I Could Have Died’: J6 Dissident Says Capitol Police Nearly Beat Her to Death

'This is an evil man that should be stripped of his position of power and sent to prison for his crimes...'

Recently released surveillance footage appears to show Capitol Police beating Jan. 6 protestor Victoria White repeatedly in the head, according to Just the News.

“Victoria White was pushed into the tunnel and desperately tried to escape . . . she never raises a finger to the police and never commits an offensive act,” White’s lawyer, Joseph McBride, wrote on Twitter. “What do they do? They attack her mercilessly.”

McBride said his client was targeted for wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat in support of then-President Donald Trump.

“An officer wearing a white shirt . . . pulverized a defenseless woman that was half his size for wearing a MAGA hat,” McBride continued. “She is hit approximately thirty-five times over the course of 4 minutes and 30 seconds, while appearing to be begging for mercy the entire time.”

Despite a nationwide push to hold police accountable for brutality in other cases, the officer who perpetrated this violence was one of many who got away with it.

“This is an evil man that should be stripped of his position of power and sent to prison for his crimes,” McBride said. “Instead, the people who came to her aid, and others like her—are languishing in prison in pre-trial detention.”

But according to Julie Kelly of American Greatness, one of the leading journalists pursuing the injustices heaped on J6 political dissidents, “No officer on duty that day has been charged with unlawful force.”

Even Lt. Michael Byrd, the officer who killed protestor Ashli Babbitt in cold blood, faced no consequences for his actions.

As for White, she said she was lucky to have survived her attack.

“It’s a miracle,” she said in an interview with Kelly. “I could have died.”

White, who was arrested on April 8, was charged with:

  • Knowingly Entering or Remaining in any Restricted Building or Grounds Without Lawful Authority
  • Disorderly and Disruptive Conduct in a Restricted Building or Grounds
  • Violent Entry and Disorderly Conduct on Capitol Grounds
  • Parading, Demonstrating, or Picketing in a Capitol Building
  • Impeding or Attempting to Impede Law Enforcement Officers Performing Official Duties
  • Obstruction of Justice/Congress
