(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) Trump-endorsed Sen. John Boozman, R-Ark., was caught on camera secretly claiming that he does not believe that there was fraud in the 2020 election, the Gateway Pundit reported.
In the bombshell hidden-camera footage posted by a YouTube user named Cass Fairbanks, Boozman compared 2020 fraud allegations to the Democrats’ Russia-collusion hoax, which they used to undermine former President Donald Trump for many years.
Subsequent investigations have debunked the bogus Russia disinformation spread the Democrat-funded Steele Dossier and propped up by many in the mainstream media.
In fact, an ongoing special-counsel investigation has confirmed that the rival Hillary Clinton campaign was the true source of criminal conspirac in the 2016 election.
Meanwhile, ample evidence exists documenting the cabalistic efforts to illegally influence and manipulate voting in several key swing states, such as Wisconsin, Michigan, Arizona, Pennsylvania and Georgia.
But while Boozman may publicly accept the facts—widely reported on and confirmed by conservative media outlets—according to the unlisted YouTube video, he privately endorses the discredited mainstream media narrative.
While at a coffee shop, a woman—presumably Fairbanks—approached him to ask his opinions about the election controversy.
“What are your thoughts on the legitimacy of the 2020 election? Like, is that something that we should continue to talk about or do you think that’s something that…” she asked.
Boozman responded by saying that as long as something happened, it was legitimate.
“As far as the legitimacy, I believe strongly that once the states certify… you know each state, they act independently once they certify, then it’s over, OK—unless, you know, something blatant comes up.”
While several blatant and egregious violations have come to light, Trump supporters’ legal efforts were largely blocked by activist judges who tossed the cases for lack of standing and other technicalities.
Boozman’s assertion that the Electoral College legitimized the Biden presidency is not entirely out of step with the Constitution.
But the senator’s other talking points falsely insinuated that there was a good-faith effort by deep-statist ex-Attorney General William Barr to investigate fraud concerns.
Boozman suggested that since the Department of Justice purported to have looked into the matter and found evidence wanting, the affair was settled.
“[W]e had a situation with a Republican Justice Department, you know, and the attorney general said, ‘It’s OK. We looked at these things,’” he said. “But once you certify them and go forward, then at that point it’s over.”
He concluded, then, that Trump should “let it go” and move on.
When further pressed about the evidence, he reiterated his stance that there was no basis for judges, including those at the US Supreme Court, to intervene, as they did in the 2000 Bush vs Gore decision.
“I’ve not seen—and, again, this might change tomorrow—but I’ve not seen anyone come forward, kind of like in—when we had the deal in Florida with Bush, you know the recount there.”
Boozman—who has three primary challengers in his upcoming re-election bid, also has said he does not think Trump will run in 2024.
“I don’t see it happening,” he said, according to the Gateway Pundit.
