Biden’s SOTU a Huge Flop w/ Young Viewers; Overall Ratings Plunge

'It's Biden's #SOTU and Nicolle Wallace is leading her show off by talking about Donald Trump... '

(Mark Pellin, Headline USA) In yet another record-setting failure, viewership numbers for President Joe Biden’s lie-filled, demagogic State of the Union address Tuesday night tanked to near historic lows and lagged far behind the ratings highs of former President Donald Trump.

The latest Nielsen numbers showed Biden’s speech drew an estimated 27.3 million viewers, a plunge of 29% from last year, which marked the lowest audience for a SOTU address in at least 30 years, Deadline reported.

Biden barely edged out the low of 26.9 million viewers that slogged their way through his 2021 speech to a joint session of Congress, which wasn’t technically considered an official State of the Union speech.

Even more disappointing for Democrats, viewers aged 18-34, a key voting demographic the party has shamelessly pandered to with ultra-woke agendas, represented a dismal 5% of the audience.

The precipitous ratings decline came as no surprise to the Twitterverse, where there were several campaigns encouraging viewers to boycott the speech and skip the lies.

In comparison to Biden’s poor performance, Trump’s SOTU delivered consistent highs across all platforms. Nearly twice as many viewers tuned in for Trump’s first address, which drew an audience just shy of 46 million.

That discrepancy hasn’t gone unnoticed by the more aggressively left-leaning fake news outlets, who for years milked Trump for record viewership numbers. The Biden crash has left many media leftists pining for the Trump Golden Age.

“It’s Biden’s #SOTU and Nicolle Wallace is leading her show off by talking about Donald Trump,” said NewsBusters managing editor Curtis Houck.”I get it’s a ratings magnet for her liberal base, but this isn’t healthy. Nicolle and her show are beyond obsessed with Trump.”

Among network and cable coverage for Biden’s largely ignored Tuesday performance, Fox News led the pack with an average of 4.69 million viewers, followed by ABC with 4.4 million, NBC with 3.8 million, CBS with 3.64 million, MSNBC with 3.6 million, CNN with 2.4 million and Fox Broadcasting with 1.66 million.
