Biden’s Lavish Vacation at Dem. Donor’s Mansion Ignites Local Investigation

'We cannot comment further...'

(Luis CornelioHeadline USA) Tom Steyer, a prominent leftist billionaire activist, is under investigation by a local government in Nevada for potentially violating civil law by renting his $18.5 million Lake Tahoe mansion to the Biden family without the required permit.

The civil probe, first reported by the Nevada Globe on Tuesday, has sparked controversy, as the lavish vacation has triggered allegations of ethical impropriety and potential legal infractions.

The complaint, which was lodged by a local resident in Douglas County, Nevada, to the Vacation Home Rental Advisory Board, asserted that Steyer rented his mansion to the Biden family for a nine-day getaway from Washington D.C., raising concerns over possible violations of local laws.

If the rental is deemed to be in violation of local laws, Steyer could face a hefty civil penalty of up to $20,000, reported the Nevada news outlet.

Ernie Strehlow, the program manager and head of code enforcement, confirmed that Steyer’s home is under local investigation following several complaints from residents.

“We cannot comment further as we are actively investigating any Douglas County Nevada code violations on this rental,” Strehlow claimed in a statement to the Nevada Globe.

Anticipating criticism, the Biden White House had claimed that the scandal-ridden Biden family is paying an alleged fair-market value for the rental, before adding that the mansion “belongs to Tom Steyer and Kat Taylor. The First Family is renting the home for fair market value.”

As reported by the Nevada Globe, Steyer is known for being the largest financial contributor to the impeachment of former President Donald Trump, who is now running to oust Biden from the White House in 2024.

The Steyer investigation has exposed a wider trend involving the Biden family.

According to the New York Post on Tuesday, Biden has accepted complimentary vacations from Democrat supporters, raising concerns of a double standard in comparison to the criticism aimed at Justice Clarence Thomas for alleged omissions of gifts from conservative allies.
