Biden Spins Midterm Message as Mandate, Vows to Change Nothing

'I'm confident these policies are working...'

(Joshua Paladino, Headline USA) President Joe Biden spent a post-election news conference on Wednesday trying to spin the midterm results, which produced fewer Democrat losses than projected, as a mandate to continue his administration’s policies that have led to record inflation, record crime, record illegal immigration crossings and exit-polling that showed two-thirds of Americans do not want him to seek reelection

In response to a White House reporter’s question about the exit-polls, Biden said their opinion “doesn’t” matter.

“Watch me,” he said to Americans who do not want him to serve a second term.

As election results indicate a likely Republican return to majority control of the U.S. House, a reporter also asked Biden about being investigated and impeached. A dismissive Biden shrugged it off with the same disregard he gave to voters’s concerns about a second term.

Despite polls showing immense dissatisfaction with the economy and inflation, Biden doubled down on his agenda to destroy oil and natural gas and to devalue the dollar.

And although inflation has a single cause—fiat currency increasing faster than productive capacity—Biden offered no solution, like slowing down the money printers, to stop it.

Biden called on 10 favored reporters from the mainstream media during the interview, who likely lobbed him scripted questions.

In one odd and protracted stumble that encapsulated the entire press conference, he called himself an “extremist.”
