(Alex Tien, Headline USA) President Joe Biden’s mental faculties, as well as his lack of solutions to any problems the nation is facing, was on full display at a press conference this week at the White House.
Biden sarcastically joked about his own resignation being a “good idea,” the Western Journal reported.
The attempted jest was in response to comments from Sen. Rick Scott, R-Fla., who earlier had opined that, “the most effective thing Joe Biden can do to solve the inflation crisis he created is resign. He’s the problem.”
A reporter read the comments to Biden and then, like it was an inside joke, Biden responded, “Resign? That’s a good idea.”
The reporter clarified that, “The senator added later, ‘Joe Biden is unwell, he’s unfit for office, he’s incoherent, incapacitated and confused. These are his words. I offer you a chance to respond.”
All that the president could manage in reply was, ” I think the man has a problem.”
The press conference was yet another example of the Biden’s ability to deflect questions about his own cognitive ability, as well as the rampant inflation and catastrophic economy that has overwhelmed the nation under his tenure as POTUS.
In addition to his refusal to accept any responsibility for the issues facing the United States, Biden has repeatedly resorted to blaming the “MAGA Republicans” for his woes.
At the same press conference, Biden acknowledged public frustration with his failing economy, but then claimed that Republicans only want voters to be frustrated so that they can enact an “extreme agenda.”
“Look, I know you’ve got to be frustrated,” he said. “I know, I can taste it. Frustrated by high prices, by gridlock in Congress, by the time it takes to get anything done.
“The MAGA Republicans are counting on you to be as frustrated by the pace of progress, which they’ve done everything they can to slow down, that you will hand power over to them … so they can enact their extreme agenda,” Biden said.
