AOC Attempting to Set Up Impeachment for Clarence Thomas

'There must be consequences... '

(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., appears to be making an effort to impeach the Supreme Court’s justices.

In an interview on NBC News, AOC made it sound as if she would like to see every originalist member of the court removed. She called out Clarence Thomas as being impeachment-worthy by name, Western Journal reported.

“If we allow Supreme Court nominees to lie under oath and secure lifetime appointments to the highest court of the land and then issue, issue without basis—if you read these opinions—issue without basis rulings that deeply undermine human civil rights of the majority of Americans,” AOC said.

“There must be consequences.”

She went on to repeat the lie that justices Amy Coney Barrett and Brett Kavanaugh, along with other justices, lied about respecting the precedent of Roe v. Wade.

“I believe that violating federal law in not disclosing income from political organizations as Clarence Thomas did years ago, is also potentially an impeachable offense,” AOC told NBC News.

The non-disclosure to which AOC is referring is that Thomas’s Wife, Ginny, worked for the Heritage Foundation, a conservative think tank.

Despite AOC’s insistence, it does not appear as if the Thomas family violated federal law by failing to disclose Mrs Thomas’s work history.

AOC, on the other hand, has been accused of funneling campaign funds to her boyfriend.

“I believe that not refusing from cases that one clearly has family members involved in with very deep violations of conflict of interest, also impeachable offense,” the congresswoman said.

“And I believe that this is something that should be very seriously considered including by senators like Joe Manchin and Susan Collins.”

While many recognize that the justices are simply doing their jobs, AOC, the Left and the so-called “living document” embracers seem more interested in pushing their agenda than promoting the Constitution.
