(Mark Pellin, Headline USA) Lending credence to what many already suspected, Biden regime Attorney General Merrick Garland has reportedly been identified as the “senior” official implicated in helping to bury the tax evasion case against Hunter Biden.
Garland was the unnamed official referenced in a stunning letter from the attorney of an IRS whistleblower, who claimed knowledge of a coverup in the Hunter Biden criminal investigation, the New York Post reported.
The whistleblower’s attorney, Mark Lytle, told lawmakers that the former IRS agent is ready and willing to testify before Congress.
The letter informed that the whistleblower had information that “contradict sworn testimony to Congress by a senior political appointee” and also showed “preferential treatment” in the criminal probe of President Joe Biden’s son. That “senior political appointee” is Garland, the Post reported.
“Typical steps that a law enforcement investigator would take were compromised because of political considerations,” the whistleblower claimed.

The IRS agent making the blockbuster claims had “already made disclosures to the inspectors general of the Treasury and Justice departments,” the Post reported. “However, due to a quirk of federal law, he needs congressional approval to more fully describe his allegations to his own lawyers, which he wants to do before testifying to lawmakers.”
I had no idea Merrick Garland and the whistleblower were that close. https://t.co/rXXo0FRBgG

The allegations are damning and sparked an immediate backlash when Garland was outed as the Biden official interfering with the Hunter Biden investigation. Garland has repeatedly and under oath in testimony to Congress denied any meddling in the first son’s case. Garland could be found guilty of committing perjury in statements given to Congress under oath, if the accusations are accurate.
“The CIA lies for Hunter and Garland blocks all the charges. This is the definition of a coverup and election interference,” one Twitter commentator noted, while another lamented that, “Our justice system is broken.”
Last year I asked AG Garland how the Biden Admin could impartially investigate Hunter, & this report regarding this testimony is very concerning. The IRS whistleblower deserves protection to provide information, & the American people deserve transparency.https://t.co/Lk482pZzkP pic.twitter.com/0RRCiZciQZ

“The IRS Whistleblower story is Watergate on steroids. AG Merrick Garland is directly implicated in obstructing an active criminal investigation into the President’s son,” wrote Turning Point USA’s Charlie Kirk. “House GOP must force leftwing news to cover. Public primetime hearings. Full song and dance.”
