After Barrage of Santos Attacks, CNN Praises Him for Allegedly Being a Drag Queen

'The media continues to make outrageous claims about my life while I am working to deliver results. I will not be distracted nor fazed by this...'

(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) After weeks of attacking Rep. George Santos, R-N.Y., for his misleading statements about his background while on the campaign trail, CNN opted for a different approach after discovering his alleged drag-queen past.

Per the New York Post, Santos dressed as a drag queen named “Kitara Ravache” while living in Brazil in 2008.

The accusation came from Santos’s former friend and fellow drag queen, “Eula Rochard.”

“I think I met him when he was around 16 or 17 years old,” Rochard said of Santos, who went by the name Anthony at the time. “He used to hang out in my house while his mom was playing Bingo.”

While discussing the bombshell allegation, CNN’s Alyssa Farah initially attacked Santos and tried, without evidence, to link his “lying” to former President Donald Trump.

But when it came to Santos’s cross-dressing, she declared, “more power to him.”

Christina Pushaw, the longtime spokesperson of Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, suggested that if any on the Left failed to support Santos’s lifestyle choices, that might be considered hate speech.

Santos, one of just few openly gay Republican lawmakers, drew the wrath of many on the Left after flipping a historically blue district in the posh northwestern region of Long Island.

Shortly thereafter, he acknowledged having made some deceptive statements about his past, including claiming to be Jewish even though he was raised Catholic and attending a school that he never attended.

Republicans have been mixed in their response, with some calling on him to resign and others pointing to the long track record of Democrats—such as President Joe Biden and Sens. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., and Richard Blumenthal, D-Conn.—all blatantly lying about their past with impunity.

Despite his candor concerning previous misstatements, Santos robustly denied the most recent allegations about his gender-bending.

“The most recent obsession from the media claiming that I am a drag Queen or ‘performed’ as a drag Queen is categorically false,” he wrote.

“The media continues to make outrageous claims about my life while I am working to deliver results. I will not be distracted nor fazed by this,” Santos added.

But according to Rochard, Santos’s constant lying is nothing new.

“He used to create stories, usually involving money—like that his dad was rich,” Rochard added.

“But then people wondered why his mom was a cleaning lady. There’s nothing wrong with being a cleaning lady, but if his dad was rich, why then?”
