Actor Tyrese Gibson Says Hollywood Trying to Normalize the Devil

'The devil is on the main-stage at award shows, and in every video, signs and symbols...'

(Ezekiel Loseke, Headline USA) Veteran Hollywood actor Tyrese Gibson said that Hollywood is trying to normalize the devil in an interview posted to Twitter.

Gibson’s testimony comes from years of experience as he has played roles in The Fast and Furious franchise, Death Race, Transformers and Baby Boy, according to IMDB.

In fact, Gibson’s interview was designed to produce hype for his newest movie, but Gibson steered the conversation away from the film to discuss the spiritual danger posed to America by Hollywood, according to The Blaze.

“As much as I’m supposed to be promoting this movie and talking about my album, I just feel like we are in competition right now,” he said. “Because they are trying to normalize the devil.”

Gibson produced a very prominent example to demonstrate his point.

“The devil is on the main-stage at award shows, and in every video, signs and symbols,” he said, referring in part to the satanic display at this years Grammys.

He pointed out that the openly Satanic imagery of Hollywood is relatively new.

“The devil-worshippers used to be real secretive,” he said. “[They used to] go down in the basement,” referring to the hidden nature of their occult practices. “Now, they just play.”

More than note the problem, Gibson produced a solution.

“I said, you know what? We need to stop treating our relationship with Jesus like the little buddy that you talk to before you go to bed at night,” he said, highlighting the lukewarm nature of contemporary American Christianity. “[Christians must] be more vocal about all the things that God means to us.”

Gibson suggested that the best way to address the assault from the devil is with gratitude to God.

“We should, as believers, we should go the rest of our lives trying to figure out God. That should be an everlasting hunt,” he said.

“I’m looking as a person who is overwhelmed with what God has decided to put me in and has done over my life, even when I’ve went above and beyond to mess it up myself,” he continued. “God says, ‘I still got you.”

The full 40 minute interview is posted on YouTube.
