(Ben Sellers, Headline USA) Radical leftists, unhinged by a leaked draft decision that could potentially send so-called abortion rights to the state level by overturning the controversial Roe v. Wade decision, showed their disdain for human life on Tuesday (and into early Wednesday) by attacking police officers in Los Angeles.
The fact that their own state’s governor, Democrat Gavin Newsom, pledged outright defiance to any Supreme Court decision overturning abortion did little to ameliorate the entitled abortion proponents.

The protest began with a group of about 30 outside a federal courthouse near a busy LA intersection at Broadway and 1st St., but it soon swelled to a crowd of about 250, blocking traffic, Fox News reported.
Initially, they tapped on the hoods of police cars attempting to clear the road. However, the rioters subsequently began hurling objects at the peacekeeping officers.

“We attempted to communicate, clear, and provide dispersal order to the group,” Los Angeles Police Department Chief Michel Moore said, according to Fox News, but then the “crowd began to throw rocks and bottles at officers.”
At least one officer reportedly sustained a head injury.
The violence led LAPD to call for backup support—including from the Department of Homeland Security.
Although the department was intended to focus on international terrorism in the wake of the 9/11 attacks, its role has continuously evolved.
During the Trump administration, it was used primarily for border security and functioned as the enforcement arm of federal immigration law.
Under the Biden administration’s open-borders policy, the Homeland Security role appears to have morphed, yet again, to a more domestic-oriented approach, including the recent introduction of its partisan propaganda ministry, the Orwellian “Disinformation Governance Board.”
DHS’s presence appeared to egg on the rioters even more, with Twitter activists complaining that officers “assaulted” the violent rioters.

Several other urban areas also reported rowdy protests, suggesting that the radical Left may seek to use activist-organized anarchy over abortion much as it did to foment a summer of deadly race riots following George Floyd’s death in May 2020.
Billionaire oligarch George Soros reportedly has spent more than $25 million on pro-abortion lobbying since 2016 and has allegedly bankrolled similar protests in promoting his subversive agenda.
Revealing, yet again, their own duplicity when it comes to organized political violence, former President Barack Obama and his wife, Michelle, were among those who openly called for defiance and protest—making no qualifications in their statements that it should remain peaceful.
“We’re asking you to join with the activists who’ve been sounding the alarm on this issue for years — and act,” they wrote in a statement.

Newsom also appeared to tacitly incite the rioters.
“We have to wake up. We have to fight like hell. We will not be silenced,” Newsom said Tuesday morning, echoing the very words leftists have dubiously claimed that former President Donald Trump used to foment violence during the Jan. 6, 2020 uprising at the US Capitol.
Although California’s abortion status would not be challenged under any Supreme Court ruling, Newsom also took the opportinity to try to invalidate the high court.
“We can’t trust SCOTUS to protect the right to abortion, so we’ll do it ourselves,” he whined in his statement. “Women will remain protected here.”
