(Ken Silva, Headline USA) Rep. Lauren Boebert, R-Colo., has been accused in a House Ethics Committee complaint of having sexual relationships with three House employees, two of them female, under her direct supervision.
The complaint, filed Thursday by journalist David Wheeler, says Boebert had sex with the staffers during official office hours, after hours, and on weekends; in Colorado and outside Colorado; in her district office in Colorado; in a vehicle; and in hotel rooms paid for by her campaign committee. The staffers are named in the complaint, but Headline USA is not publicizing them since they’re not public figures and the allegations are unconfirmed.
When the husband of one of the female staffers found out about her affair, they got a divorce, according to the complaint.
The complaint alleges that Boebert improperly paid the staffers. “Respondent retained and compensated employees, including through year-end bonus payments from official funds, other than in amounts commensurate with the duties actually performed for the House,” the complaint says.
Boebert reportedly denied the allegations.
“Well, I’m not a lesbian or bisexual, and I have never, ever been in any inappropriate relationship, nor have I ever been sexually involved with any staff,” she reportedly said.

One of the staffers also issued a denial to the Colorado Times Recorder.
The Recorder further noted that the complainant, Wheeler, has a history of accusing Boebert of sexual wrongdoing.
“In June 2022, Wheeler launched a website stating, among other claims, that Boebert had previously worked as a paid escort. The site featured an image of a woman who was not her, one of several errors Wheeler later acknowledged and called “sloppy,” though he defended his underlying claim about her past. Boebert threatened to sue him over the claims, but never did,” the Recorder reported Friday.
“Instead, Wheeler filed a defamation lawsuit against her over her public threats of legal action. That lawsuit, which was also filed under oath and penalty of perjury and included the main claim about her paid escort work, was eventually settled with undisclosed terms.”
