‘Zuck Is a Cuck’: Musk Insult Triggers Leftist Hysteria

'For some people, it’s a reference to racist fetish pornography... '

(Mark Pellin, Headline USA) Gearing up for a potential epic cage match brawl, the showdown between Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg entered uncharted and R-rated territory in the wake of Meta’s launch last week of Twitter-rival social media platform Threads, producing an insult that had leftists screeching hysterics about “right-wingers” and white supremacy.

“Zuck is a cuck,” Musk tweeted, responding to a Threads post that challenged Zuckerberg “to go into space just to really make [Musk] mad.” The SpaceX founder followed up the tweet by proposing “a literal dick measuring contest.”

While somehow managing to avoid the wrath of trans-terrorists for the sin of referencing actual biology, leftists instead attacked Musk as a racist who had adopted the white supremacist ways and lingo of all right-wingers.

“Over the years, cuck has become a dangerously amorphous term. While it isn’t inherently a white supremacist word, it has taken on racist and antisemitic connotations,” warned Guardian columnist Arwa Mahdawi. “For some people, it’s a reference to racist fetish pornography. It’s also, one linguist has argued, a coded way to talk about antisemitic ‘great replacement’ theories.”

Instead of accepting Musk’s insult as jab in the escalating business feud with Zuckerberg, the Guardian scolded the Chief Twit with nefarious undertones.

“So, was Musk joking when he called Zuck a cuck? Or was it something more sinister? I can’t say for certain. But the fact that one of the world’s richest and most influential men is proudly using far-right terms? That is not funny at all.”

Leftist activists and media have reason to root against Musk and cheerlead for Zuckerberg’s upstart Meta platform, which has already come under fire for censoring conservatives.

Attempts to follow Donald Trump Jr. on Threads delivered a warning that the account “repeatedly posted false information.” Popular conservative commentator and attorney Rogan O’Handley reported encountering the same treatment because he “posted once about wanting to expose Biden’s corrupt government.”

A Meta spokesperson said the messages were made in error and had been corrected, after they had already made social media rounds.

Musk has dismissed Threads, which reportedly launched with upwards of 30 million users and is tracking toward 100 million, as a Twitter knock-off that copied his platform and poached his staff.

Twitter last week threatened legal action against Meta for creating a “copycat” application, only hours after the Threads launch, reported Semafor. In a letter to Zuckerberg, a Twitter attorney accused Meta of engaging in “systematic, willful, and unlawful misappropriation of Twitter’s trade secrets and other intellectual property.”

“Twitter intends to strictly enforce its intellectual property rights, and demands that Meta take immediate steps to stop using any Twitter trade secrets or other highly confidential information,” attorney Alex Spiro wrote.

“No one on the Threads engineering team is a former Twitter employee — that’s just not a thing,” a Meta spokesman told Semafor.

Zuckerberg has reportedly not responded to Musk’s cuck jab or any measuring contests.
