(Headline USA) The mass shooter in Philadelphia this week who is accused of killing five men and injuring two children has been identified as a leftist transgender.
Kimbrady Carriker, 40, was arrested on Monday night after shooting up the city’s Kingsessing neighborhood. According to police, Carriker was wearing a bulletproof vest and was armed with a rifle, pistol, extra magazines and a police scanner. He began the rampage in the middle of the street before chasing the last victim down and killing him in his home. He shot two children, a 2-year-old and a 13-year-old, in their legs.
Philadelphia locals said Carriker was a well-known leftist activist who regularly participated in Black Lives Matter protests. He posted frequently about BLM on his Facebook page, including one post in which he expressed support for workers who protested in the Strike for Black Lives in July 2020.
In May 2020, Carriker also posted a video to his Facebook of a burning Philadelphia police car that had been smeared with graffiti, including the letters “ACAB” — an acronym for “All coppers are b—–ds.”
“I was there; where were you? #we matter,” he wrote.
His Facebook page also shows him wearing women’s clothing, including a bra and women’s top and earrings, just three months before the shooting.

Carricker was also a repeat offender who had been previously arrested on gun charges. In 2003, he was arrested and charged with possession of a weapon without a license, carrying a firearm in public, and drug possession, according to Philadelphia court records.
In their coverage of the mass shooting, leftist media outlets have declined to refer to Carricker as a biological male, instead using “gender-neutral” pronouns.
The Daily Beast even accused conservatives of focusing too much on Carricker’s trans-identity, even though he is the second mass shooter this year to identify as a gender different than his sex.
