Biden Using Short Staircase to Board Air Force One as Questions Swirl over Failing Health

'No more big stairs for Joe!'

(Corine GattiHeadline USA) President Joe Biden has been using the short built-in stairs to board Air Force One for weeks since the aging president has fallen a couple of times in public this year, causing more speculation about the 80-year-old’s ability to run the country,” the Gateway Pundit reported.

Biden is notorious for his on-camera gaffes, not knowing where he is during most events and being unable to use the stairs of Air Force One without an oopsie.

The president has tripped at least eight times since being elected in 2020.

Recently, after giving a speech this spring, Biden stumbled during the Air Force Academy commencement ceremony in Colorado Springs. He was assisted by Secret Service agents and Air Force officials and returned to his seat. White House Communications Director Ben LaBolt tweeted that a sandbag had been on the commencement stage.

The most dramatic fall happened in March 2021 while the president was climbing up the stairs of Air Force One where he tripped three times, before finally falling over onto the stairs. He then stood up and climbed the remaining stairs before giving a salute before the plane took off for Georgia.

Some thought it was just a fluke, a random series of unfortunate events. But then reports came in that Biden had also tripped and fallen at his home after a shower. Now, after months of slips, Biden’s handlers changed the trajectory of Biden’s direction from the traditional long staircase to shorter steps under the plane, to prevent any further incidents.

Biden was slammed for using the short steps on social media in a tweet by Brick Suit that garnered over 1,300,000 views, the Gateway Pundit noted.

“No more big stairs for Joe! They are so afraid of Biden tripping as he boards Air Force One that they are making him take the small stairs into the bottom of the plane,” the user posted.

Whether it was from being slammed on social media for using shorter stairs, or a “mistake” by the White House, Biden’s Monday departure from California was noted for his use of short steps to board Air Force One. However, it was an old photo from March 28 of the president looking energetic while walking down the long staircase, along with the caption “We’re on the move to invest in America.”

The imagery surrounding the president is significant in demonstrating their health, vigor and power. The long climb up and down the stairs of Air Force One symbolizes their physical abilities while standing at the top with the robin’s egg blue of the plane and the presidential seal conveys the majesty and authority of the American presidency.
