(Abdul–Rahman Oladimeji Bello, Headline USA) In less than 24 hours after the unveiling of New York’s crack pipe vending machine, residents of the woke city emptied it.
A Daily Mail report noted that the authorities, eager to maintain the supply chain of the drug apparatus, had quickly refilled the machine with even more drugs on Tuesday. This vending machine reportedly dispersed free crack pipes, condoms and Narcan, an overdose-reversing drug.
“It seems the mayor of New York has decided that his ideal resident is Hunter Biden,” cracked Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas. “He’s rolled out a plan to recruit people who are hooked on drugs.”
Intent on the mission to continue with this supply, the Opioid Overdose Program Director at Services for the Underserved, Elan Quashie declared, “We are going to restock every day. Probably multiple times a day.”
Quashie also noted that the speed at which people emptied the machine did not come as a surprise. “I kind of knew that they would go,” he said.
In just a day after the vending machine’s unveiling, Quashie restocked it with five trays of Naloxone and two trays of fentanyl-testing kits. Each tray on the vending machine holds 13 to 18 products, all free to the interested public. He also promised to refill the machine with other products.
As he refilled the trays of the vending machines, Quashie stood on the words “poor choices,” which some displeased resident had scribbled on the sidewalk.
Quashie said, “We got a lot of positive feedback from people, and they were happy to see that it was free. So, we had an idea that some of the selections were going so quickly.”

An unsatisfied resident who had a clear view of this machine from her window complained that such a machine should be in the lobby of a resource building, not on the street. She said, “Being a Brooklyn resident and someone who goes out, there are places that are definitely better suited to this.”
She added that it could be very dangerous to kids passing by the roads as they could confuse it for candy. She noted, “It’s lit up at night. Yes it is. Last night it looked like a candy machine.”
