Ariz. Gov. Katie Hobbs Vetos Bill to Ban Porno Filming in K-12 Classrooms

'These should be safe spaces for our kids to learn in, not venues for the sexually explicit adult entertainment industry... '

(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) After two Arizona teachers were fired for making OnlyFans videos while at work, state legislators decided to write a bill outlawing the filming of pornographic content on school grounds.

But Democrat installed Gov. Katie Hobbs chose to veto the bill, suggesting that concerned legislators were really trying to smuggle in book bans, NBC 12 News reported.

For Hobbs, the bill was written in a “vague manner that it serves as little more than a thinly veiled effort to ban books” because the bill sought to restrict sexual content in the classroom.

It was unclear why she felt it necessary to safeguard children’s access to pornographic books if, indeed the scope of the law had jeopardized it.

Arizona state Sen. Jake Hoffman, a Republican, released a statement condemning the governor for playing partisan games with classroom content.

“Once again, Katie Hobbs is spotlighting Democrats’ far-left extremism by vetoing yet another bill intended to protect our children from exposure to sexually explicit materials at the hands of Arizona governments,” Hoffman wrote.

He called Hobbs’ actions “sickening,” noting also that the taxpayers are essentially funding pornography film sites if such nonsense is allowed by the state.

“These should be safe spaces for our kids to learn in, not venues for the sexually explicit adult entertainment industry,” Hoffman added.

Hobbs’ run-in with Arizona Republicans is not the first time she and her family have promoted sexual degeneracy in public, however.

Her husband, Patrick Goodman, for example, displayed a vulgar gesture in a photo shoot following his wife’s inauguration.

Surrounded by such lewd company, it should come as no surprise that Hobbs would support the filming of pornography in schools.

According to Hoffman, she “should be ashamed of herself,” and that this is “a despicable use of government resources, and there should be legal repercussions in place to discourage these types of practices from ever occurring again.”

One of the teacher’s involved with the explicit porn video, Samantha Peer, said that she has been treated unfairly now that her porn acting career has been exposed.

“I do not believe my name should be smeared throughout the community when I made one mistake that didn’t affect anybody until other adults began allowing children access to my content,” she said.
