Obama Stenographer: Biden ‘Knew’ Hunter Was on Burisma Board

'This is a conspiracy. This is a crime. This is public corruption...'

(Corine GattiHeadline USA) A former White House stenographer who accompanied then-Vice President Joe Biden to Ukraine during the Obama administration confirmed that Biden “knew” his son Hunter was on the Burisma board and was involved in a “kickback scheme” while pushing for natural gas in the country.

The whistleblower account from Mike McCormick further calls into doubt the current president’s debunked claims that he did not consult with his son regarding the latter’s corrupt foreign business deals. It comes just days after the revelation that Hunter’s business associates visited the Obama White House more than 80 times.

“I’m sitting back there with a tape recorder. Jake Sullivan comes back and somebody asks about fracking,” McCormick told Fox and Friends First. “His answer is, well, we’re bringing a lot of American assistance over for fracking. Burisma was the direct beneficiary of that fracking, and that’s what I recorded, and that’s in a White House transcript.”

McCormick also talked to Fox News host Jesse Watters and said he didn’t see anything wrong at the time of transcription. In fact, he explained that he was carrying out his role as the White House stenographer, having been directed by a then-senior administration official, Jake Sullivan, now the national security adviser for the Biden administration.

“What happened on that trip was, Joe Biden was in the front of the plane,” McCormick told Watters. “My job as the White House stenographer was to be in the back of the plane in the press cabin and if Joe or a senior administration official came back and did a briefing, then I would record it and make a transcript.”

Hunter’s swift acceptance to the Ukrainian natural gas firm’s board seemed like a questionable move, considering Biden’s soon-to-be arrival in Kyiv. Though this information was kept under wraps for nearly a month, it wasn’t long before a new theory began to emerge. According to McCormick, this was an unethical abuse of influence, meant to help Hunter take advantage of American resources and line the Biden family pockets with extra wealth.

“This is a conspiracy. This is a crime. This is public corruption. That’s what the FBI is supposed to investigate,” McCormick said. “That’s the bottom line. I don’t care if he goes to Timbuktu or Ireland or anywhere, he’s a criminal and I’ve got the evidence.”

As Air Force Two soared to Kyiv, Ukraine on April 21, 2014, a dialogue between then-Vice President Joe Biden, his aide Jake Sullivan, and the press revealed their true intentions: to strengthen U.S. investment in the Ukrainian energy sector. After this meeting, Hunter Biden soon joined the board of Burisma, and Congress later allocated a whopping $50 million to Ukraine’s energy market months later.

This wasn’t a coincidence, according to McCormick.

“I’m sitting back there with a tape recorder. Jake comes back and somebody asks about fracking. His answer is, well, we’re bringing a lot of American assistance over for fracking. Burisma was the direct beneficiary of that fracking, and that’s what I recorded, and that’s in a White House transcript,” McCormick said. “In the transcript, you don’t know who Jake Sullivan is.”

“It’s a senior administration official,” McCormick explained of the conversation regarding Burisma and U.S. aid. “I’m the witness that says Jake Sullivan is the guy who said it and he should be investigated because at the time Hunter Biden was on the board of Burisma and Joe Biden is bringing American taxpayer money to enrich that company and himself and his family.”

Joe Biden is a criminal, the whistleblower said. “He was conducting malfeasance in office to enrich his family. Jake Sullivan is a conspirator in that, and there’s more… Obama officials involved in it, I believe.”

The former stenographer is determined to reveal information before the grand jury in Delaware that is looking into Hunter’s business dealings.

“In February, I went to the FBI and filed one of their tips on their website,” McCormick recounted on Thursday. “If you do that, and you’re lying to them, you go to jail. I’m not lying. I’m telling the truth, and I’m not going to jail.”
