(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) The Hong Kong company that gave more than $3 million to Biden family associates in 2017 is reportedly connected to the Chinese Communist Party.
A House Oversight Committee memorandum revealed on Thursday that just months after Joe Biden stopped being the vice president of the United States in the Obama administration — in March 2017 — State Energy HK Limited wired $3 million to Robinson Walker, LLC, run by “Biden family associate” John Robinson Walker.
At the time of the money transfer, the chairman and executive director of State Energy Group International Assets Holdings Limited, then a direct subsidiary of State Energy HK Limited with close personnel ties, was Ren Qingxin, who was a CCP representative at a business organization. According to a Chinese government website, Qingxin was succeeded by Lei Donghui, who joined the CCP in July 2002.
According to the memorandum, after receiving $3 million, Robinson Walker, LLC distributed $1,065,692 in “incremental payments over a period of approximately three months” to as many as four Biden family members.
Robinson Walker, LLC transferred these funds to Hallie Biden, James Brian Biden Sr. [James Biden], Robert Hunter Biden [Hunter Biden] and an “unknown bank account identified as ‘Biden,’” which probably belongs to Joe Biden, the Daily Caller reported.
As reported by the committee, even though some of the transfers from Robinson Walker, LLC were sent directly to Biden family members, the company was also sending money to “their companies,” including Owasco PC, JBBSR Inc and RSTP II, LLC.
The committee determined that, in total, approximately one-third of State Energy HK Limited’s $3 million transfer went to Biden family members.
On March 2, 2017, Robinson Walker, LLC sent another $1,065,000 from the CCP company’s $3 million transfer to the European Energy and Infrastructure Group [EEIG] in Abu Dhabi. According to the memorandum, EEIG is a self-styled “advisory organization.” The committee also noted that James Gilliar, a “business partner of Hunter Biden,” is “associated” with EEIG.
“I have bad news for the White House,” tweeted House Oversight Committee chair Rep. James Comer, R-Ky. “This is just the beginning for @GOPoversight.”
Comer wrote that “The Biden family clearly received money from individuals connected to our foreign adversaries,” and claimed that Biden “has not been telling Americans the full truth.”
“What was China buying?” Comer asked.
