(Headline USA) First Lady Jill Biden presented an “International Women of Courage Award” to a biological male on Wednesday.
During a ceremony held at the White House, Biden and Secretary of State Antony Blinken honored Alba Rueda, a man who identifies as a woman, who served as Argentina’s Special Envoy for Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity. Rueda was one of 11 “extraordinary women from around the world who are working to build a brighter future for all,” the State Department said.
The State Department praised Rueda, specifically, for campaigning “to change the name of the National Women’s Conference to the ‘Plurinational Conference of Women and Lesbian, Cross-Dresser, Transgender, Bisexual, Intersex and Non-Binary Persons’ to include diverse, dissident, and racialized identities.’”
Conservatives blasted the Biden administration.
“It’s International Women’s Day — a good time to remember that Democrats can’t even tell you what a woman is,” Arkansas GOP Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders tweeted.

Is the message supposed to be that men are better than women?

Conservative commentator Dana Loesch accused the Bidens of encouraging “the diminishment of women.”
“Erasing women is abusive,” she added.
The Biden administration has been aggressively pushing the transgender agenda over the past couple of years. Last March, the Department of Health and Human Services released guidance encouraging gender-confused minors to seek out sex-reassignment surgeries and hormone treatments.
Two of the endorsed physical reconstructions include: “‘Top’ surgery – to create male-typical chest shape or enhance breasts;” and “‘Bottom’ surgery – surgery on genitals or reproductive organs, facial feminization or other procedures,” according to the guidance.
“Medical and psychosocial gender affirming healthcare practices have been demonstrated to yield lower rates of adverse mental health outcomes, build self-esteem, and improve overall quality of life for transgender and gender diverse youth,” the HHS said.
