(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) Parents of Michigan middle schoolers didn’t expect that, during the field trip, the “educators” would groom their children by stopping at a downtown Detroit nightclub.
The photos of students partaking in pole dancing released by Libs of TikTok went viral, according to the Post Millennial.
Initially, a November trip from the school district’s Hart Middle School to the Detroit Symphony Orchestra should’ve ended with sixth graders going to a pizza restaurant. When the restaurant told the “educators” that they don’t have space for them, groomers decided that it would be a good idea to bring them to a place children don’t belong.
Niki’s Lounge, “one of the hottest nightspots in Greektown and all of Detroit,” as reported by Downtown Detroit Bars, requires all guests to be at least 21 years old with a valid ID. The club, however, decided to not follow the rule when the young children came to the club’s doors.
On its website, the club stated that the dress code is “Grown and Sexy.”
“I don’t know what’s more disturbing; that RCS took a group of 6th graders on a school-sponsored field trip to a gentlemen’s club complete with stripper poles, or the fact that there are parents out there that see nothing wrong with this and are defending the decision,” one Facebook user responded to the shocking news posted on the social media platform.
RCS executive director of strategic communication Lori Grein said that, as predicted, the school district didn’t get permission from parents to bring students to a strip club.
However, it appears to be that the owner of the pizza restaurant and Niki’s Lounge is the same person, Agatha Kefallinos. Despite that the school district reserved the seats in Niki’s Pizza, the owner said that children would need to eat their pizza in the club.
“When we have a group of 100, they can’t just walk in. There is no way we could accommodate them,” Kefallinos said.
“We can only accommodate a certain number in the restaurant. Typically when we have a group of over 100 people, we give them the option of going to our second floor, which is operated as a club on Saturday nights but is closed during the day.”
Andrew Weaver, a trustee on the school board and the person who released the photos of the students sent to him by the parents who obtained them from their kids’ phones, is now being sued by the school.
“You can’t make this up,” Libs of TikTok tweeted.
Rochester Schools also blocked Libs of TikTok on Twitter for making the grooming incident viral.
