McConnell to Host Biden at Ky. Event Celebrating Massive Spending Bill

'I’ve never been more optimistic about America in my whole career...'

(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell. R-Ky., will host President Joe Biden and his other leftist allies to celebrate the passage of the massive infrastructure bill and the subsequent state projects that will soon get underway, NBC News reported.

Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine, another RINO, will join McConnell and Biden at a ceremony to formally announce the $1.6 billion grant from the infrastructure law to replace a bridge crossing the Ohio River, connecting Ohio and Kentucky.

McConnell in particular supported Biden’s $1.2 trillion infrastructure bill, which is full of handouts to buy Republican votes, despite its radical elements.

“I watched each of the two previous administrations struggle with the issue of how to meet the infrastructure needs of the country,” McConnell said back in 2021 regarding the infrastructure bill.

“I joined 18 other Senate Republicans feeling like now is the time to address it. I’m proud of my vote,” he added, noting that the outcome would be very good from a “Kentucky point of view.”

Biden’s stop comes the day after Republicans took over control of the House of Representatives, and it signals the beginning of RINO chatter about “bipartisanship”–code for capitulating to the leftist agenda.

Also partaking in the victory tour are Vice President Kamala Harris and Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg.

Harris plans to visit Chicago to announce that city’s major handout, while Buttigieg will visit Connecticut.

Just before his “bipartisan” tour, Biden expressed his optimism in an ABC New Year’s Eve special.

“I’ve never been more optimistic about America in my whole career,” the 80-year-old president said.

“We’ve been through so much, so much difficulty, the pandemic, flu, a whole range of things,” he continued. “And look how the American people fought back, and they got up, and they—there’s nothing that can hold them down.”
