Dozens of Biden Staffers on Payroll of Globalist Ex Google CEO

'We enacted the most stringent ethics guidelines of any administration in history to ensure our policy processes are free from undue influence...'

(Ezekiel Loseke, Headline USA) Eric Schmidt, the globalist former CEO of Google, has even more influence over the Biden administration than previously reported, and his support is driving government support for artificial intelligence.

Specifically, Schmidt is funding jobs for Joe Biden‘s staffers, according to Politico.

Schmidt is funding jobs through the non-profit the Federation of American Sciences as government is considering funding and regulation for his pet scientific industry, artificial intelligence.

The tech oligarch once famously told Google users that to avoid getting snitched on, “Don’t be evil.”

However, a spokesperson for Schmidt insisted in a statement to Politico that he was doing good—and that he is not the lone CEO trying to forward AI by his connections in government.

“Eric, who has fully complied with all necessary disclosure requirements, is one of many successful executives and entrepreneurs committed to addressing America’s shortcomings in AI and other related areas,” the statement said.

It added that there is nothing inappropriate about Schmidt’s overt influence over government.

“There are people with the expertise and experience to make monumental change and advance our country,” the statement said. “They should have the opportunity to work across sectors to maintain our competitive advantage for public benefit.”

Meanwhile, the Biden White House contradicted Schmidt’s claim.

“Neither Eric Schmidt nor the Federation of American Scientists exert influence on policy matters,” a White House spokesperson said. “We enacted the most stringent ethics guidelines of any administration in history to ensure our policy processes are free from undue influence.”

Politico reported that the White House staffers know their funding comes from the Federation for American Sciences, and they know Schmidt is a heavy funder of that organization.

In fact, it reports that these employees are sometimes referred to as Schmidt fellows, and that Joe Biden has recognized this connection in a speech.

“Schmidt is clearly trying to influence AI policy to a disproportionate degree of any person I can think of,” according to Alex Engler, a fellow specializing in AI policy at the far-left Brookings Institution.

“We’ve seen a dramatic increase in investment toward advancing AI capacity in government and not much in limiting its harmful use.”

Schmidt is able to fund these staffers because of a law passed in the 1940s that allows non-profit organizations and universities to fund executive officials.

The positions funded by Schmid are legion. They include spots on Biden’s White House Council of Economic Advisers, the White House Council on Environmental Quality, the Department of Energy, the Department of Education, the Department of Health and Human Services, the Department of Transportation, the Department of Homeland Security and the Federal Trade Commission, according to Politico.

Further, at least six people funded by Schmidt are in the Office of Evaluation Science that works as a consultant to help enable communication between agencies and the White House.

The heavy involvement of Schmidt in the financing, formation, and regulation of AI technologies can hardly be coincidental.

To believe that his influence is incidental would be to believe that a single man spent a fortune influencing people investigating, regulating, and funding a single area of study accidentally.

Much more believable is the idea that Schmidt, knowing his future lies in AI, has decided to use his money to influence politics to favor his own economic and political interests.
