(Joshua Paladino, Headline USA) The Biden regime’s Department of Homeland Security issued a gag order this week to U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents, prohibiting them from sharing data on the record-high number of migrants being apprehended at the border.
According to the guidance, CBP chiefs and agents are no longer allowed to share data on the number of arrests or detentions made by Border Patrol agents or the number of people being held in CBP facilities at the US-Mexico border, Breitbart News reported.
The guidance also restricts CBP from sharing certain information about the demographics of migrants, such as their ages and countries of origin. The Biden administration released the guidance with the title “DHS OPA guidance on social media coordination for the lifting of Title 42.”
As the Supreme Court considers a case that could end Title 42, the Biden administration is preparing to cover up the massive wave of illegal immigration that will follow.
Anonymous sources within DHS have claimed that the order is an attempt to hide the fact that the number of migrants attempting to enter the U.S. illegally has increased significantly under the Biden administration.
Before the gag order went into effect, Border Patrol chiefs had been sharing early statistics on illegal border crossings.

The Biden administration has defended the guidance, saying that it is intended to protect the privacy of migrants and to ensure that CBP is only releasing accurate and reliable information to the public. There have not been reports about CBP chiefs sharing inaccurate information.
