Was Musk’s Twitter Poll about Resigning a Secret Trap for Leftist ‘Bot’ Accounts?

'It’s unwise to run a poll like this when you are now deep state enemy #1... '

(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) On Dec. 18 Elon Musk posted a Twitter poll, asking users to decide his fate as CEO, wondering whether or not he should step down and promising to abide by the results.

After receiving over 17 million votes at the time of this publication, voters had decided by a wide majority–15 points–that Musk was not up to the task.

Despite the ensuing corporate media field day, many have speculated that millions of bot accounts voted “yes”, causing skewed results that do not in any way reflect the will of the people, the Daily Fetched reported.

Many took to Twitter to float their ideas.

“I’m hoping that Elon did this poll as a honeypot to catch all the deep state bots. The dataset for this poll will contain most of them. Some good data-mining and he could kill them all in one go,” one user wrote.

Given the recent release of the “Twitter Files” and the numerous powerful enemies Musk has made in the DC bureaucracy, the theory that deep state bots voted millions of times in the poll could certainly be plausible.

Moreover, Musk has called it his mission at Twitter to cleanse the platform of misinformation bots.

In any case, Musk has committed to staying on as the CEO until he finds “someone foolish enough to take the job.”

Former President Donald Trump echoed such sentiments in a interview soon after the poll.

“I think he wants to step down, I think that’s a good way of stepping down, you know just lose in a poll and say ‘I’m out of here’,” Trump said before continuing to praise the tech CEO.

“Yeah, I’d say he is a hero, it’s a big part of his legacy. I think it is more important than other things he has done and it is very important,’ Trump added.
