(Joshua Paladino, Headline USA) In an effort to persuade Twitter to censor its political opponents, FBI agents arranged for the social media company’s executives to gain top secret security clearances, WND reported.
With this high-level government access, the FBI convinced high-ranking Twitter employees that the Hunter Biden laptop story came from a Russian “disinformation” campaign, when, in fact, he left the computer, which shows corrupt business deals in foreign nations, at a repair shop.
The new report of the FBI’s role in suppressing the New York Post’s reporting about the laptop scandal came from the seventh installment in the Twitter Files, written by Michael Shellenberger.
The Twitter Files even reveals the San Francisco assistant special agent in the FBI who participated in the plot.

Before Chan brought the Twitter executives to learn about “threats” in the next election, the company had actually resisted the FBI’s efforts to gain access to materials or to push a foreign interference narrative.
After the FBI learned that Delaware computer store owner John Paul Mac Isaac had recovered Hunter Biden’s laptop and collected its contents, it engaged in an almost year-long process of psychologically priming Twitter’s former head of trust and safety Yoel Roth to reject the story.
Twitter’s senior general counsel Jim Baker, a former FBI attorney, insisted that Roth must censor the story because the laptop must have been hacked or its contents made up.
And Baker was not the only former FBI employee who worked at Twitter and tried to influence the company to harm the Trump administration and promote the Biden administration.
