(Ezekiel Loseke, Headline USA) Former Trump press secretary, and daughter of former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, was elected governor of Arkansas.

Sanders, a Republican, will be the first woman to serve as governor of Arkansas, according to Axios. She, like President Trump, is also the first elected governor to not be previously elected to public office.

Sanders campaigned on combatting the leftist indoctrination of children, showcasing her former press secretary skills with a powerful ad that highlighted her “Arkansas Learns” program that resonated with voters and parents.

“When I’m governor, we will educate kids, not indoctrinate them with the Left’s agenda,” Sanders said. “And we will prepare students for the workforce, not government dependency.”

Sanders also focused a campaign on combating soaring crime, illegal immigration and illegal drugs pouring across our border. Sanders created another plan and another advertisement to promote the security and happiness of Arkansas. She said, “Making Arkansas one of the best states in the country to live, work and raise a family starts with making sure families feel safe.”

“Right now, our state has a serious crime problem,” Sanders said. “Violent crime is on the rise and deadly, illegal drugs are flooding our communities.

“As governor, I will close loopholes in our parole system, be an advocate for victims, support our men and women in law enforcement, and never defund the police.”

Sanders also ran on a platform attempting to reduce soaring inflation. She ran an ad called “rip off” where a clerk tells a young boy he cannot buy a treat with his allowance because of inflation and taxes. Sanders promised to cut taxes to try and alleviate the loss of purchasing power Arkansas is suffering through under Biden.

Sarah Huckabee Sanders ran an “Arkansas First” campaign.
