(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) Elon Musk has reportedly agreed to restore Twitter censorship after meeting with leftist groups like the ADL and the NAACP.
“During a Zoom meeting with the heads of some of the country’s leading leftist organizations, including the NAACP, Color of Change and the ADL, Musk committed to restoring access to the [moderation] tools,” Breitbart reported.
Leftist organizations started to worry as soon as Musk announced his plan to eliminate censorship on Twitter and restore the accounts of people who were expelled from the platform.
However, Musk also said that the unbanned users won’t be able to return to Twitter for at least a couple of more weeks, which could be translated to “you will be able to return only after midterms.”
ADL representative Yael Eisenstadt, Jessica Gonzalez, the head of digital rights group Free Press, and Rashad Robinson, the president of Color of Change — the leftists who were present at the meeting — said that Musk agreed with their concerns about allowing conservatives to speak.
“He said he would continue consulting with the people of color, religious minorities and people most impacted by hate and disinformation on the platform,” said Gonzalez.
Musk commented on the meeting in his tweet.

He also tweeted a typical nonsensical leftist narrative that is typically meant to silence conservatives.
“Twitter’s content moderation council will include representatives with widely divergent views, which will certainly include the civil rights community and groups who face hate-fueled violence.”
Twitter conservatives, like author and popular podcast Catturd, criticized Musk.
“When it comes to unfairly suspended accounts being reinstated, it looks like @elonmusk is only listening to the same assholes responsible for the BS and other far-left groups who could always say anything they wanted,” Catturd wrote.
“The only group targeted – Conservatives – are getting shafted.”
