Watch Biden Go from Distortion to Misinfo to Pure Lie in Under 30 Secs. at Fla. Clown Show

'I’m thinking about Iraq because that’s where my son died...'

(Headline USA) President Joe Biden brazenly lied about demonstable facts while slamming popular Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis as “Trump incarnate” during a rally Tuesday for Democrat gubernatorial candidate Charlie Crist.

“They talk about inflation … inflation is a worldwide problem right now because of a war in Iraq and the impact on oil and what Russia’s doing …  excuse me, the war in Ukraine,” Biden said. “I’m thinking about Iraq because that’s where my son died.”

Beau Biden, the only deceased male offspring whom Biden has publicly acknowledged, died in 2015 of brain cancer. He returned from a deployment to Iraq in 2009.

As with many of Biden’s routine fabrications, he has had a history of repeating this one, ruling out the possibility that it was simply a slip of the tongue.

A few minutes after he lied about Beau’s death, Biden referenced his son again, this time correctly stating the cause of his death.

“My son, who died of stage 4 glioblastoma—the cost of those drugs was enormous,” Biden said.

During his gaffe-filled speech, Biden also took a jab at DeSantis, claiming the prospective 2024 GOP presidential contender would make politics less civil and decent.

“This guy is not—he doesn’t fit any of the categories I talked about,” the president said of DeSantis.

“The way he deals, the way he denies … Charlie is running against Donald Trump incarnate,” he continued, misusing the word incarnate.

Later in the speech, Biden deceptively that claimed DeSantis and other Republicans would take away Social Security and Medicare benefits for seniors, even saying at one point that he had spoken about this threat with the man who invented insulin.

“How many of you know somebody with diabetes, and needs insulin,” Biden asked the crowd.

“Do you know how much it costs to make that insulin drug for diabetes?” he continued. “… It was invented by a man who did not patent it because he wanted it available for everyone. I spoke to him, OK?”

Both of the men crediting with inventing insulin—Dr. Frederick Banting and professor John James Richard Macleod—died before Biden was born. Banting died in 1941 and Macleod died in 1935. Biden was born in 1942.

Biden has, on at least one prior occasion, attempted to shake hands with a ghost while exiting the stage, although it is inclear if the spirit was that of Banting or Macleod.
