(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) The Satanic Temple of Dallas-Fort Worth spent part of the weekend hosting a booth at the second annual Pagan Pride Fest in Tyler, Texas, and invited people to leave the Christ by going through the “unbaptism” ceremony.
“The Satanic Temple is performing ‘unbaptisms,’” independent journalist Tayler Hansen reported on the event and posted a video to Twitter, according to the Post Millennium.
“After an upside down cross is drawn on their forehead they chant ‘Hail Satan.'”
According to Christian beliefs, a baptism represents an individual’s acceptance of Jesus Christ as one’s Lord and Savior who died and was resurrected for the forgiveness of their sins. After the performance of “unbaptism” at the satanic Temple, a person could receive a certificate that proves that the act indeed happened if they pay $10.
“The Satanic Temple is unbaptizing people for $10 each,” Hansen wrote in his other Twitter post.

Some Christians attended the event to spread love, the Tyler Morning Telegraph reported.
“We come in love, and we just want to represent Christ,” East Texas Christian Kelsey Chrisman said.
Catholics also attended the event to protest Satanists.
“A local Catholic group blessed the grounds prior to the Satanic Temple event that was hosted in Tyler, TX today,” Hansen reported.
While at the event, Hansen asked a woman and her child why they decided to attend the event and she said that they did this “to celebrate” and “to bother Christians.”
“The duo claimed the few Christians who were there came to ‘rebuke’ them,” the Post Millennium reported.
“When Hansen asked why, the mother, who was draped in black and masked with her mouth covered in blood, said, ‘because we are dark, we are witches and we don’t believe in their God.'”
Aside from constantly taking the side of people who want to kill babies in wombs, to protest the Texas abortion law, Satanists presented a bowl with dismembered baby dolls.
“If you are going, just some word of caution: there is a high chance of protesters. Do not engage, do not argue, just pass go,” the Satanic Temple of Dallas-Fort Worth wrote on their Facebook page.
“They are not there to listen; they are there to try to ‘save you’- do not confront or try to start something. You are on your own if you do. We will not come to bail you out of jail.”
Satanists posted a similar message on their Twitter account.
