Ben Shapiro Changes His Vax Jab Rhetoric: ‘We Were Lied To’

'It is now perfectly clear that we were lied to... '

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) Ben Shapiro, a libertarian/conservative personality and an outspoken advocate for the COVID-19 jab, said on his show on Tuesday that people, including him, were lied about the efficacy of the vaccines.

“It is now perfectly clear that we were lied to,” he said on Tuesday’s episode of The Ben Shapiro Show, according to the Post Millennial.

“And we were lied to at a very high level and from very, very early on by both the vaccine companies, in terms of the ability of the vaccine to prevent transmission, and… by our politicians who apparently knew better, ” said Shapiro, the editor emeritus of the Daily Wire.

Shapiro said that he changed his mind about vaccines after he saw Pfizer executive Janine Small saying in an Oct. 10 hearing before members of the EU that the company didn’t know if the COVID-19 vaccine would prevent transmission, even though at the beginning of the pandemic, leftists were saying that “you are doing it to protect other people.”

He also criticized Biden’s administration for knowing about that in 2021 but continuing to spread the lies that the vaccine stopped the transmission of the virus.

Shapiro cited a WaPo article that suggested that Democrats knew by the summer of 2021 that the vaccines “did a far worse job of blocking infection than originally expected, as potency waned… Still, the political imperative remained.”

Before that, Bezos’s media organ published an article that called that kind of rhetoric the “most pernicious anti-vaccine talking point” and attacked conservatives, like Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis, for saying that the vaccine did not prevent the infection.

Dr. Deborah Birx, a former White House COVID response coordinator, admitted in July that she knew that the COVID-19 vaccines “were not going to protect against infection,” and added, “we overplayed the vaccines.”

“We were lied to by everyone,” Shapiro said. “We were lied to by the scientists. We were lied to by Pfizer. We were lied to by the government. We were lied to by the Biden administration… I don’t like being lied to.”

In the end, Shapiro demanded that “everybody who’s involved in this sort of stuff” be thrown out of the office and those from the private sector who were complicit “need to be fired.”

Shapiro, a Harvard law graduate, added that “There may need to be actual criminal prosecutions if you are disseminating false health information to people on the basis of zero evidence.”
