Rat-Identifying ‘Furry’ Plugs Trans-Speciesism in Schools at Texas Council Meeting

'If they feel more comfortable being a cat, I don't mind putting a litter box in the classroom that lets them defecate in there...'

(Ben Sellers, Headline USA) Conservative comedian and provocateur Alex Stein—best known for calling Rep. Alexandria Ocasio–Cortez, D-N.Y., a “big-booty Latina” on the steps of the U.S. Capitol—garnered more attention by weighing into the debate over school indoctrination and child-grooming during a local Texas city council meeting.

The new clip, which was posted on Wednesday following the Tuesday night council meeting, went viral, garnering Stein more than 140,000 YouTube views and more than 6,000 Instagram likes as of Friday morning.

In it, Stein reprises his alter-ego, “Ronnie the Rat,” who previously had attended a San Francisco “pride” event, dressed up in full costume as a “furry”—an LGBT-linked subculture of sexual deviants who fetishize other people in animal costumes.

“We have a lot of trans-inclusivity in other cities like Frisco—they’re doing ‘pride’ parades at a lot of churches—we’re not doing any ‘pride’ parades at churches here in Allen, and that’s what we need,” Ronnie said.

“We need more kids on gender-reassignment surgery or gender-reassignment hormones—and the best way, I think, for me, that it’s gotten the message out to the other students, is doing it myself, leading by example,” he continued. “And that’s what I’m trying to do here, as a trans-species, as Ronnie the Rat—cause, like, listen, there’s a social stigma. Me trying to date other furries like this in Allen? There’s not a community. There’s not a bar that accepts me.”

Ronnie, who identified himself as an educator, said he had seen the same thing happen to his 9- and 10-year-old students.

“If they feel more comfortable being a cat, I don’t mind putting a litter box in the classroom that lets them defecate in there,” he said.

While some major media sites and so-called fact-checking sites have pounced to refute the “urban legend” of schools providing litter boxes to accommodate cat-identifying students, at least one confirmed case posted to TikTok revealed that a substitute teacher had been barred from the school for mocking a child’s meowing.

Several other schools have reported issues with children behaving like dogs and cats in the classroom—a trend believed to have begun on social media.

“And should I tell the parents?” asked Ronnie during the Allen city council meeting.

“No, we shouldn’t tell the parents. These kids can make decisions at 10 years old,” he continued. “Like, their parents shouldn’t be involved.”

He said that after buying furry costumes for his pupils, angry parents had responded by calling him “the g-word: G-R-O-O-M-E-R, which is basically like the n-word,” Stein said.

“It’s just a terrible description of who I am,” he added. “I’m trying to help young kids be themselves. If they want to be a cat, if they want to defecate in the litter box, I’m all for that.”

Remarkably, Stein’s absurd commentary seemed to illicit little reaction from his fellow attendees and council members.

While it is possible that some took his trans-species advocacy seriously, it isn’t the first time the Texas-based Stein has trolled local government meetings to call attention to some of the woke absurdity being pushed nationwide through typically mundane municipal meetings.

He previously garnered attention from Fox News host Tucker Carlson and other top conservative media outlets for his madcap appearances in woke hotspots across the country.
