(Joshua Paladino, Headline USA) Prompted by Media Matters, the mainstream media has convinced itself that former President Donald Trump played a QAnon song as a dog whistle to his supporters at an event in Youngstown, Ohio, on Sept. 17.
Leftists and their fake news media accomplices were also throwing hissy fits because many rally goers waved a finger in the air, likely in a show of support of the America First agenda, which was distorted by the media as a Nazi salute.
During Trump’s concluding remarks about America’s decline under President Joe Biden, a song played called Mirrors by a well-known film and television composer, Will Van De Crommert, Newsweek reported.
The same song exists on Spotify under the title WWG1WGA, in an album called Silver Cloud 5. “WWG1WGA” stands for “Where We Go All, We Go One,” a QAnon slogan.
The album’s publisher, Richard Feelgood, has a small following, with 19,104 monthly listeners. Van De Crommert’s Spotify page likewise has a small following, with fewer than 15,000 monthly listeners.
After the event, a Trump spokesperson explained that someone simply uploaded Mirrors under a different name without giving Van De Crommert composition credit.
“The track on the video is not a song titled WWG1WGA by Richard Feelgood, but rather…a song called Mirrors, by TV and film composer Will Van De Crommert, who has composed music for Saturday Night Live and the 2016 Rio Olympics, among others.”
Music theory professor David Dominique, who used to teach at William & Mary College in Virginia, said the songs do not differ at all, VICE reported.
“I have listened to both closely several times now, and I have 100% professional confidence these recordings are identical, not even a reinterpretation of a composition, but the same recording,” he said.
The same song played on Trump’s social media account on Aug. 9, where he delivered a similar message about Biden destroying the United States.
Some Trump supporters latched onto the supposed connection, too.
“I don’t know who needs to hear this, but the song playing behind Trump and Scavino’s storm video is literally called Wwg1wga,” a QAnon personality posted on Telegram. “If that’s not a Q proof, then I don’t know what is. Boom.”
