Trump Pledges ‘Full Pardons w/ an Apology’ for J6 Patriots

‘I will look very, very favorably about full pardons if I decide to run. And if I win, I will be looking very, very strongly about pardons. Full pardons...’

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) Donald Trump said that if he becomes president again, he will look “very, very favorably about full pardons” for many patriots who were arrested after protesting on Jan. 6 at the US Capitol, adding one more reason to why Democrats are desperate to prevent a 2024 run.

“There are hundreds of people who have been dragged [through] Hell and who are still sitting in DC’s Gitmo,” Wendy Bell of Newsmax said during a recent broadcast of her radio program, according to the Republic Brief.

The corrupt establishment used Trump-supporting Americans as a weapon against their leader after the Jan. 6, the outlet reported. While they were dragged through the Washington courts for “insurrection,” conservatives reported inhumane treatment and denial of basic civil rights.

“More than 840 people have been arrested for ‘storming the U.S. Capitol building on Jan. 6, 2021, with charges ranging from obstruction of an official proceeding to assault. But 17 months after, a significant number of participants are still awaiting their sentencing,” the Republic Brief reported.

185 individuals have received criminal sentences. The rest are waiting for their trials or haven’t yet reached plea agreements.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia reported that 80 defendants were sentenced to periods of incarceration. The median prison sentence for the Jan. 6 rioters is 45 days. According to Time, some people received less harsh sentences.

“An additional 57 rioters have been sentenced to periods of home detention, while most sentences have included fines, community service, and probation for low-level offenses like illegally parading or demonstrating in the Capitol, which is a misdemeanor.”

Trump said that if he were to become president again, he would pardon those people.

“I am looking at this very carefully and I have been studying cases. We need to make contributions to help them,” Trump told Bell.

“… I will look very, very favorably about full pardons if I decide to run. And if I win, I will be looking very, very strongly about pardons. Full pardons.”

While on Bell’s show, Trump spoke at length with Bell about FBI and law enforcement’s corruption when it comes to Jan. 6 protestors.

“I met with [prisoners several] times… It’s a disgrace what they’ve done to… these people,” he said.

Trump added that while his legal team was working to help those people, they discovered the evil nature of the “legals” who represent the “radical Left system.”

“These people are sick. There’s something wrong with them. Nobody’s ever seen anything like this and they don’t mind… [My team was] telling me that… some of the legal people on the other side [are] the most cold-hearted people,” he said.

“They don’t care about families. They don’t care about anything.”
