(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) Michigan Democrats have made open and brazen statements implying collusion to put a Democrat into office as a Republican, and urging Democrat voters to flood the Republican primary race.
Failed state house candidate Sara Schulz posted to Facebook discussing a plan to put Midland County Clerk Ann Manery into office as a Republican under false pretenses, Big League Politics reported.
“All it takes is a few thousand local democrats and independents to vote over on the Republican side of the primary ballot for Ann. (and NOT cross your ballot and vote for any Dems this time),” Schulz wrote.
“Ann is pro reproductive rights, pro gun safety, and pro LGBTQ+ rights. She believes in the validity of the 2020 election (and I think we should listen to her on that one—she is, after all, the county Clerk!),” the post continued.
“She’s a 30-year+ public servant in our county who has always put people over politics. Regardless of party, I would be honored to have her as my representative.”
Manary is running against Bill Schuette Jr. in the primary. Schuette Jr’s father, Bill, was the Trump-endorsed Republican nominee for governor in 2018.
Manary also seems willing to take part in Schultz’s potentially illegal ploy, reposting Schultz’s articles on her Facebook page.
Reportedly, Manary also switched from the Democrat to the Republican party on the ballot.

She is also described as “Pro-choice” and “Pro-LGBT” in by Woman Action Michigan, a “is a progressive action group dedicated to positive change and resistance.”

Several Michigan clerks are being brought up on charges of improprieties after looking the other way on election fraud in the 2020 presidential election.
Genesee County Clerk John Gleason oversaw the city of Flint during the election, and is being charged with bribing or intimidating a witness as well as neglecting his duties.
