The Federal Government’s COVID Narrative is Unraveling

'In case they don't know, vaccinated people can spread the virus readily... '

(Chris ParkerHeadline USA) The more the government encourages Americans to get vaccinated and adhere to mandates, the more its COVID narrative unravels.

With a new strain bringing COVID cases back to the forefront, at least three different news items have undermined long-held official narratives about the virus and the vaccines that are supposed to mitigate its symptoms, Just the News reported.

Foremost among those is the obvious lie issued last year by President Joe Biden, who joined several state governments in assuring Americans that the vaccines were safe and effective, and that vaccine resisters were responsible for the ongoing spread.

“If you’re vaccinated, you’re not going to be hospitalized, you’re not going to be in the IC unit, and you’re not going to die,” he claimed.

The following week, Rochelle Walensky, director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, said fully vaccinated people “have just as much viral load as the unvaccinated, making it possible for them to spread the virus to others,” reported NBC News.

Now that Biden and other fully-vaccinated officials have contracted COVID-19, the claims that were used to promote much of the federal government’s actions and recommendations are unraveling.

The efficacy of COVID vaccines has also been questioned by Harvey Risch, an epidemiologist at Yale University.

“Those old antibodies are covering up the surface of the virus, keeping the virus from getting attacked by the new antibodies that the immune system is making” in response to newer variants, he said during an interview on the John Solomon Reports podcast.

Most of those vaccines are also “based on a long-outdated viral strain,” he added.

Deborah Birx, Trump’s former White House Coronavirus Response Coordinator, admitted during an interview with Neil Cavuto that she knew the vaccines “were not going to protect against infection.” She even went on to admit, “I think we overplayed the vaccines.”

However, the boosters, which were designed to compensate for the ineffective vaccines, are supposed to fight the latest variants. Unfortunately for Biden, the latest booster failed to protect him only for four months after he received it. That has sparked significant criticisms and distrust of federal COVID policies.

Those policies have come under even greater scrutiny after they were used to bar professional tennis player Novak Djokovic from competing in the US Open. Djokovic is on track for one more Grand Slam singles title to tie for the all-time lead. He recently won the Wimbledon competition.

However, Djokovic also refuses to get vaccinated. Since federal policies bar unvaccinated non-citizens from entering the US, he will not be allowed to compete.

That policy was heavily criticized by Republican senators Ted Cruz of Texas and Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee, both of whom called it “absurd.”

University of California San Francisco epidemiologist Vinay Prasad also criticized the policy.

“In case they don’t know, vaccinated people can spread the virus readily,” Prasad wrote. “You could airdrop a million Novak Djokovics in the US, and the pandemic will proceed exactly as it otherwise would.”
