Boston Schools Teach ‘Oppressed’ ESL Students to Resist w/ Assassination

'The material was clearly designed to indoctrinate children into seeing themselves as victims of oppression...'

(Ezekiel Loseke, Headline USA) Boston high schools are teaching English as a Second Language students to feel oppressed and resist violently, even promoting the assassination of political leaders, while offering little support for their grasp of the English language.

According to the Epoch Times, files hosted and made available for download by the Boston Teachers Union show an ESL course’s curriculum that “includes detailed note-taking sheets and powerpoints on institutional, interpersonal, and internalized oppression.”

ESL courses are designed for non-native speakers, most of whom are immigrants or visa holders.

One example of a form of institutional oppression was, per the Epoch Times, “Trump builds a wall on the border so it is harder for Latinos to enter the US.”

The materials promoted by the teachers not only encourage immigrants to feel oppressed, but to react against their oppressors.

The BTU course material says, “Students are invited to critically examine when certain forms of resistance might be appropriate.”

A worksheet ncluded in the BTU training documents titled “forms of resistance” promotes resistance against “institutional, interpersonal, and internalized oppression.”

The worksheet lists traditional peaceful forms of protest, such as sit-ins, boycotts and marches, but it also depicts three violent forms of protest, according to the Epoch Times.

Masked rioters, clad in all black, are depicted throwing items, one of which appeared to be a flair.

The BTU also depicts fighting as an acceptable form of protest, with two people brawling drawn on the handout, according to the Epoch Times.

Most egregiously, political assassination is depicted as a legitimate form of resistance. A picture of former President Richard Nixon is shown with crosshairs on his chest, simulating a scope aimed at the former president.

The Epoch Times quoted Alex Newman, an award-winning international journalist, saying, “the material was clearly designed to indoctrinate children into seeing themselves as victims of oppression.”

Newman said the indoctrination of victimhood was followed up by BTU “promoting revolt and resistance to legitimate forms of authority.”

In an ironic twist, the handouts included two significant spelling errors on the cover, proving that the radical reactionaries who created the ESL curriculum were not very well educated in English.
