Leftist Musician’s Abortion Lecture Backfires w/ Crowd Exodus

'When you’re running down our country, hoss, you’re walking on the fighting side of me... '

(Ezekiel Loseke, Headline USA) Halsey, an American musician who self-identifies with the woke pronouns “she/they,” decided to lecture her audience in Phoenix on abortion, and the audience responded by leaving the venue, a resounding rejection of artists pushing leftist propaganda.

The singer condescended to her audience, insisting, “Here in Arizona, you guys got to promise me that you’re gonna do that work so that the person to the left of you and to the right of you has that right for the rest of their lives.”

“If you don’t like it, you can go home right now — I don’t care.”

A good chunk of the crowd accepted her offer, according to Fox News.

The singer had pressed the issue earlier that night by attempting to lead the crowd in a “my body, my choice” chant.

One concert attendee seems to have become aware of how much of the population opposes infanticide, tweeting, “THE AMOUNT OF PEOPLE WHO JUST WALKED OUT OF THE HALSEY CONCERT AFTER NIGHTMARE WHEN SHE SPOKE ABOUT ABORTION WAS SICKENING. FIGHT FOR WHAT IS RIGHT.”

Halsey’s comments do not indicate a concern about losing fans; she re-tweeted by proclaiming, “downside of doing outdoor venues: no door to hit them on the way out.”

Halsey’s expressed attitude is remarkably similar to that of Hollywood elitist Wanda Sykes, who recently insulted pro-lifers, saying, “To me it’s like, the problem is that middle stuff. It is those states in the middle, that red stuff.”

Halsey is not the first notable musician to throw a fit about the overturning of Roe v. Wade. Both Green Day’s Billy Joel and Olivia Rodrigo have lectured concert attendees in England.

Billy Joel bravely told an English audience, “F*** America.”

Olivia Rodrigo said, “Samuel Alito, Clarence Thomas, Neil Gorsuch, Amy Coney Barrett, and Brett Kavanaugh; we hate you,” to a separate English Crowd.

As Halsey discovered, however, the American people are not as likely to patiently tolerate entertainers’ emotional rants about killing children.

As country great Merle Haggard once sang, “When you’re running down our country, hoss, you’re walking on the fighting side of me.”
