Pelosi Bullies Young Daughter of GOP Rep. Mayra Flores

'That little girl is the future of America — and Pelosi just cannot stand it... '

(Mark Pellin, Headline USA) House Speaker Nancy Pelosi turned what should have been a historic ceremony into a bullying session, when she body-check elbowed the young daughter of rising GOP star Mayra Flores during her swearing-in.

Speculation that could explain Pelosi’s odd and insulting behavior ran the gamut from mounting frustration over the gross failings of her Tribunal TV miniseries and lingering stress from her husband’s recent DUI charges, to simmering outrage at Flores’ historic win to flip a House district in Texas that Democrats had held for nearly a century.

In doing so, Flores became the first Mexican-born congresswoman to serve in the House. Her family moved to the United States when she was 6 years old.

Flores’ victory was also seen by many as the latest indication not only of a likely midterm red wave, but also the diminishing clout Democrats carry with Latinos.

“Now, it looks like Hispanic Americans may be the voting constituency to put Democrats in the minority for decades to come,” noted Becker News.

“Nancy Pelosi’s jab at Flores’ little girl thus reflects the anger and frustration of a Speaker who is all about power. That little girl is the future of America — and Pelosi just cannot stand it.”

Adams, apparently, predicted the reaction of at least one leftist “liberal” losing her mind.

Whatever actually triggered Pelosi to elbow aside Flores’ young daughter during her mother’s swearing-in, the shove was roundly condemned. The house speaker was called everything from a haggard witch and a terrible person, to disgusting, vile and satanic evil.

The response that Flores’ young daughter delivered to Pelosi’s shove, however, drew rave reviews, including a big one from her mom.

“I am so proud of my strong, beautiful daughter for not allowing this to faze her. She continued to smile and pose for the picture like a Queen,” Flores tweeted.

“No child should be pushed to the side for a photo op. PERIOD!!”

“Clearly, Nancy Pelosi is a horrible person,” tweeted talkshow host Joe Pagliarulo.

“But what really made me smile about this is the young lady is being raised right. She moved right back over and blew off the nasty elbow.”

One of Pagliaro’s listeners was so impressed, his response waxed almost poetic.

“Definitely brought up strong and the right way. She did not break. She did not fall. And when trouble came at her. She stood tall.”
