(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) Biden’s appointee to head the new Disinformation Governance Board, Nina Jankowicz, has been the subject of widespread mockery after a video of her singing about fake news went viral.
The video, which originally aired on Fox News Channel’s “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” features Jankowicz singing about things she believes to be fake news to the tune of Mary Poppins’ “Supercalifragilisticexpialidicoius,” the Daily Wire reported.
“Information laundering is really quite ferocious,” Jankovic begins.
She sings in show-tune style about Rudy Giuliani spreading “bad information” about Ukraine, “TikTok influencers” denying the perils of COVID-19 and urges all to “not support their lies with our wallet, voice or vote.”
“It’s how you hide a little lie, little lie, it’s how you hide a little lie, little lie,” she sings.
The internet collectively cringed as this video went viral.

Jankowicz has also performed in the “Wizard Rock” genre—inspired by “Harry Potter” —in a musical duo called “The Moaning Myrtles.”
She has also written two books, one published in 2020 titled “How to Lose the Information War: Russia, Fake News and the Future of Conflict,” and another published this year titled “How to be a Woman Online: Surviving Abuse and Harassment, and How to Fight Back.”
She also did a brief stint at a Washington D.C.-based think tank.
In 2020, Jankowicz publicly branded the now-authenticated Hunter Biden laptop as Russian disinformation, along with other correspondence implicating the entire family in suspicious dealings.
Jankowicz tweeted on Wednesday that she was “Honored to be serving in the Biden Administration @DHSgov and helping shape our counter-disinformation efforts.”
