(Tony Sifert, Headline USA) The Biden Administration has refused to apologize to Border Patrol agents it wrongfully maligned last year after photos showing the agents using their horses to prevent illegal aliens from entering the United States went viral.

During a press briefing, Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy asked press secretary Jen Psaki when President Joe Biden would apologize for attacking the agents in the aftermath of the publication of the photos.
“We’ve been told that the mounted Border Patrol officers the president accused of whipping migrants have been notified they will not face criminal charges,” Doocy said. “So, when is the president going to apologize to them?”
“There is a process and an investigation that’s gone to the Department of Homeland Security,” Psaki responded. “I don’t have any update on that.”
“The president said that they were whipping people . . . you accused these officers of brutal and inappropriate measures,” Doocy persisted. “Will you apologize to them?”
“That investigation is playing out,” Psaki dodged. “I’m sure we’ll have a comment on it after that.”
Megyn Kelly was quick to point out the White House’s hypocrisy.

“So it’s inappropriate to comment when there’s an investigation?” Kelly tweeted. “Then why the hell did you and your boss openly condemn these guys in September WHEN THERE WAS AN INVESTIGATION?”
During remarks delivered on Sept. 24, 2021 — even as the photographer himself claimed to the New York Post that his photos had been misconstrued — President Biden condemned the agents.
“It was horrible what [they did] – to see people treated like they did: horses nearly running them over and people being strapped,” the president said. “I promise you, those people will pay . . . an investigation is underway now, and there will be consequences.”
DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas immediately put the agents on “administrative duties” as he launched an investigation.
The Customs and Border Protection’s Office of Personal Responsibility has recently concluded its investigation and has compiled a 500-page report on the incident.
