NYC Mayor Urged to Rehire Those Fired over Vax Mandates

'The city is in crisis... '

(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) The New York City city council has called on Democrat Mayor Eric Adams to rehire employees who he fired over their refusal to follow the city’s vaccine mandate.

The motion is being introduced by Council minority leader Joseph Borelli later this week, the National File reported.

The proposal, which has received backing from at least seven other councilmen, aims to make private businesses and city administrations hire back employees who were fired for refusing to get jabbed.

Borelli noted that athletes have received exemptions, and therefore all others should get the same treatment.

“There has to be equity,” Borelli said. “If we’re willing to tolerate risks for athletes and performers, we must tolerate the same risks for all members of our workforce – be it the private sector or public.”

Borelli also claimed that he wanted the proposal to remain apolitical, simply ensuring the same treatment for all in the city, regardless of their wealth, status, or influence.

The city’s tyrannical jab mandate has already led to over 1,400 workers getting canned, with the possibility of thousands more who are currently awaiting a response to their religious or medical exemptions.

If New York City decides to reintroduce its strict measures as Anthony Fauci and others try to stoke more panic, many of these people’s livelihoods will once more be at risk.

Paul DiGiacamo, president of the Detectives Endowment Association, told the New York Post that he hopes Borelli’s proposal will bring back jobs for the many detectives who were fired due to their refusal to get jabbed.

According to DiGiacamo, the city has been in a state of crisis ever since it forced out a great number of investigators, many of whom had years of experience.

“Any detective who left took years of experience with [them],” he said. “The city is in crisis. We need to bring back the detectives.”
