(Tony Sifert, Headline USA) Donald Trump has called on a Clinton-appointed U.S. District Court judge to recuse himself from presiding over the former president’s lawsuit against Hillary Clinton and other Russia hoaxers, according to Blaze Media.

In an interview with Glenn Beck, Trump said that he would “probably ask for a recusal” from U.S. District Court Judge Donald Middlebrooks, who achieved some notoriety in 2016 when he threw out a lawsuit that accused Hillary Clinton of failing to release public record emails during her time as Secretary of State.
“It’s a conflict of interest,” Trump told Beck. “We have a judge who was appointed by Bill Clinton and who knows Hillary Clinton very well.”
“This is the way it works for Republicans,” Trump continued. “I think it’s a total conflict of interest.”
The former president filed a lawsuit on March 24 against Hillary Clinton, the Democratic National Committee, Biden National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan, and numerous other Russia Hoax collaborators for their role in constructing a false narrative that Trump was “colluding” with the Russians before and after the 2016 presidential election.
“In the run-up to the 2016 Presidential Election, Hillary Clinton and her cohorts orchestrated an unthinkable plot – one that shocks the conscience and is an affront to this nation’s democracy,” the suit claimed.
Trump’s call for Middlebrooks’ recusal comes as leftist politicians and their allies in the corporate media have spent the last several days demanding that Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas recuse himself from any case having to do with the 2020 election.

Rep. Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., has even called for Thomas to resign or face impeachment in the wake of the discovery of text messages sent by Virginia Thomas — the Justice’s wife — to White House chief of staff Mark Meadows in the aftermath of the 2020 election and relating to the Jan. 6 protests.
