UCLA’s Director of Race & Equity Wishes Justice Thomas Dead

'ALSO THIS IS MOOT BECAUSE HE WASN’T ACTUALLY SICK... '

(Mark Pellin, Headline USA) When leftist mainstream media bulwarks like the Washington Post take to smearing Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas as an Uncle Tom “Black justice whose rulings often resemble the political thinking of White conservatives,” the toxic rhetoric inevitably seeps into public discourse.

In one particularly egregious case, UCLA’s Director of Race and Equity, Jonathan Perkins, opined that “he (like many) hoped Justice Clarence Thomas would die rather than recover from his recent illness,” reported Jonathan Turley.

Perkins, a lawyer who previously worked in the General Counsel’s office of Harvard University, was just getting started with his racial slurs calling Justice Thomas “Uncle Thomas,” an obvious reference to the step-n-fetch Uncle Tom.

“I’m over it. He is bad,” Perkins, who is black, declared about Thomas.

“He’s LITERALLY endangered lives of countless of this country’s vulnerable populations.”

Not content with attacking just Thomas, he felt compelled to drag the Justice’s wife through the grinder, calling her treasonous, and like a good leftist demanding Thomas be impeached.

While wishing Thomas dead, Perkins conceded that it was all just fanciful hope because:

Thomas, 73, spent nearly a week in the hospital where he was treated for an infection with intravenous antibiotics.

Perkins posted his spiel on what appears to be his own Twitter page, severing himself from UCLA, and his right to free speech, however vile, shouldn’t be denied.

Although that might carry its own peril. Perkins, it seems, has a historical problem with the truth.

When Perkins was a law student at the University of Virginia, he pulled a Jussie Smollett before there even was a Jussie Smollett of note.

As a third-year law student, Perkins wrote a letter to the editor of Virginia Law Weekly, detailing his horrible ordeal of being racially profiled and harassed by campus police.

Perkins felt compelled to share the story, he said, “because it is important for my classmates to hear a real-life anecdote illustrating the myth of equal protection under the law.”

There was nothing “real-life” about the incident, however, and Perkins was forced to admit that the whole incident was an invention of his own making.

“I wrote the article to bring attention to the topic of police misconduct,” Perkins wrote in a statement to U.Va. officials, the Washington Post reported at the time.

“The events in the article did not occur.”

Apparently not content with one fabrication, Perkins emerged nearly six years later and claimed he was coerced by the FBI to recant his racial-profiling story, according to Virginia’s C-ville Weekly.

Perkins made his dubious FBI revelation when he was an attorney at the Office of the General Counsel at Harvard University.

Perkins, of course, moved on to become UCLA’s Director of Race and Equity, where he is free to wish death on Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas.
