Pelosi Mocks Early-Bird Diners as ‘Peasants’ in Shock Audio

'I like to eat at 5:30, like a peasant... '

(Alex Tien, Headline USAThe disdain for ordinary Americans from liberal elites has been evident for a long time and now House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., has taken it to a new level of arrogance.

On Wednesday, a recording emerged that showed Pelosi boasting about her dining habits and how her husband prefers to eat later, while she, being from Baltimore, likes to “eat at 5:30, like a peasant.”

The official date of the audio is not known, but the recording was shared widely on Wednesday morning.

“And to this day, my husband, Paul, who was born and raised in San Francisco – I was born and raised in Baltimore – to this day, he likes to dine at 8 and I like to eat at 5:30, like a peasant.”

It is difficult to say exactly why Pelosi felt the need to inject that last comment; however, it is abundantly clear that she feels a deep embarrassment of her home roots and an unfulfilled longing to have been born amongst the coastal elite.

This comment bears a striking resemblance to a 2016 campaign speech made by none other than Hillary Clinton, who referred to half of Trump supporters as belonging to a “basket of deplorables.”

Clinton’s lack of popularity and arrogance was a major factor in her election loss. It seems that the same type of attitude hasn’t yet resulted in any negative repercussions for Pelosi.

Pelosi’s husband, who has been able to brilliantly navigate the difficult stock market, recently purchased 2,500 shares of Tesla stock worth more than $2 million.

The two have somehow made millions of dollars off of the stock market over the years, even though she is a public servant.

Pelosi and her husband have a net worth of over $100 million, even though her salary is just over $200,000 a year.
