(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) A former staffer in Democrat California Sen. Dianne Feinstein‘s office, Jamarcus Purley, posted a rebellious video after his termination, The Blaze reported.
Purley, who had worked for Feinstein for five years, posted a video of himself high on mushrooms and smoking a joint in Feinstein’s office. He blows smoke around the room, removes his suit jacket and tie and proceeds to dance around the room and nearly fell over twice.
In a recent interview with Latino Rebels, Purley claimed that his termination was not due to “performance issues” as was claimed by Feinstein’s office. Purley, whose father died of COVID in December of 2020, explained that he wanted to “help people directly,” which was not an option working from the senator’s office.
After attempting to garner some enthusiasm to offer people direct help only to receive unenthusiastic responses, Purley gave a 15-minute speech berating the senator and calling her a racist.
“You gotta be f***king kidding me. I’ve been working here five years; the Senator has never walked by my desk. That’s why every black and brown person is leaving this office,” Purley reportedly said on the call. “That’s when I told them: ‘The Senator cares more about her dog than black people.'”
After this, Purley received his termination notice.
After receiving his termination letter, Purley posted it to Instagram and paid to promote it. After reaching several thousand people, Instagram shut down the promotion.
This became the motivation behind the mushroom-induced, weed-smoking music video he posted to Youtube. Purley saw this moment as a personal triumph, saying it “was the best night of his motherf—ing life.”
Feinstein’s office has not made an official statement on the situation.
