Soros-Linked Mich. Gov. Whitmer Claims Support for Freedom Convoy is ‘Dangerous’

(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer, a leftist Democrat, called support for the Freedom Convoy in Canada “dangerous” in an interview with CNN.

“Governor Whitmer, I was asking you about this encouragement by the right-wing media of this blockade,” CNN asked.

“Well, it’s dangerous,” Whitmer said. “They’re inciting and encouraging people to break the law and to do so in a way that devastates so many hardworking people.”

“This is families, this is businesses in America that rely on this commerce free-flowing,” she said, without ever acknowledging the protests could be stopped if Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau lifted his despotic COVID mandates.

“This is five days and it’s already taking a toll of tens of millions of dollars… and any encouragement for people to replicate this and break the law and devastate our economy is not just devastating to our national bottom line, but to individual households, businesses and agriculture,” Whitmer obfuscated.

The governor goes on to discuss the many phone calls she has been making in an attempt to get others to break up the Convoy.

Whitmer has dealt with gridlock like this before in her home base of Lansing, in a protest dubbed “operation gridlock” which took place at the beginning of the pandemic.

Much like those participating in the Freedom Convoy are doing now, the people of Michigan protested in response to over-the-line COVID measures put in place by a power-hungry politician.

Whitmer’s comments knocking pro-freedom, peaceful protesters have been regarded as highly hypocritical, given her support of Black Lives Matter riots in 2020 and her harsh COVID mandates throughout the pandemic.
