Canadian Dictator Trudeau Doubles Down on Protests by Giving Himself More Power

(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) Canada’s soft tyrant Justin Trudeau decided to vest himself with greater political authority last week in order to address the Freedom Convoy and its growing support protesting oppressive COVID mandates.

Trudeau summoned the most stern tone he could muster, claiming that the truckers — not the jab — has endangered the livelihoods of millions of Canadians, reported the National File.

This is an “urgent and critical situation” that “endangers the lives, health or safety of Canadians and is of such proportions or nature as to exceed the capacity or authority of a province to deal with it,” he said.

Trudeau granted his cabinet the ability to “take special temporary measures that may not be appropriate in normal times” to deal with the emergencies presented by an “urgent and critical situation.”

The monarchal prime minister also called the demonstrations an “insurrection” and an “occupation.”

The incompetent prime minister has so far refused to meet with protesters after claiming to have contracted COVID-19. Trudeau, at his worst when he attempts to reprimand the people, threw a live tantrum last week.

He told Parliament that protesters “have the right to be heard,” but soon called for the protests to disperse. Continuing his tirade, he flailed in an attempt to get the truckers to stop being so mean to him.

“It has to stop. The people of Ottawa don’t deserve to be harassed in their own neighborhoods,” he said. “They don’t deserve to be confronted with the inherent violence of a swastika flying on a street corner, or a Confederate flag.”

Although a few such flags have briefly appeared at some protests, Trudeau spewed the gaslighting rhetoric despite very little actual evidence that the protestors are violent or a threat to anything but his own ego. Indeed, the protests have remained peaceful.

He also claimed that the truckers aren’t true Canadians because Canadians are nice.

“That’s not who Canada and Canadians are. That’s not what Canadians demonstrated over the past two years. This blockade, these protesters, they’re not the story of this pandemic,” he concluded.
