DHS Plans Program to Allow Young Illegals More Freedom in US

'The Young Adult Case Management Program will help ICE address the needs of young adults as they navigate the immigration process at a critical time in their lives... '

(Joshua Paladino, Headline USAThe Biden administration has a new plan to let more young illegal aliens settle in the United States without being monitored, which will increase the incentive for illegal immigration and worsen the crisis at the US-Mexico border, Breitbart reported.

The Department of Homeland Security’s Immigration and Customs Enforcement will establish the Young Adult Case Management Program to care for “non-dangerous” illegal aliens aged 18 to 19 years old “who pose a low flight risk.”

Rather than tracking these illegal aliens with GPS and mandatory court appearances, the YACMP will enlist “community-based services” to check in on them, ICE reported. The illegal aliens will have to call ICE agents to report their status once a month.

“The Young Adult Case Management Program will help ICE address the needs of young adults as they navigate the immigration process at a critical time in their lives,” said Tae D. Johnson, ICE’s Acting Director.
On Jan. 28, ICE solicited proposals from contractors who can provide “community-based services tailored to individual participant needs.”
“We remain committed to providing for the health and welfare of all noncitizens in our custody, while ensuring they have access to needed resources and support,” Johnson said.
ICE’s press release did not mention the economic security or physical safety of American citizens, but instead promised to “develop and maintain a network of age-appropriate and culturally sensitive community resources” for illegal aliens.
Whichever contractors win the project will work with ICE’s Juvenile and Family Management Unit.
Endeavors, a Texas-based non-profit group connected to the Biden administration, will likely secure the contract, according to Breitbart.
After hiring a former Biden administration official, Andrew Lorenzen-Strait, who worked at DHS and ICE, Endeavors secured a $540 million contract with DHS last year, Axios reported.
