(Joshua Paladino, Headline USA) Rapper T-Pain defended podcaster Joe Rogan in an interview with TMZ, arguing that Spotify should not cancel him because the company does not “worry about what the f*** we saying,” BizPacReview reported.
If Rogan said “n*****” on his show, and Spotify cancels him for that, then the platform would have to pull “everything.”
“If that was the case, they’d take off all the sh** we talk about, killing each other and all that sh**,” said T-Pain, whose real name is Faheem Rasheed Najm.
T-Pain noted that the American rap industry produces songs filled with vulgarity, constant use of racist language, and violent threats, but no one ever questions Spotify’s right to stream the music.
“If they want to take off the derogatory terms for African Americans, they got to take off all the derogatory sh** that we say,” he said. “They gotta take everything, everything, off.”
T-Pain also said that Spotify will not remove him because it has $100 million on the line.
Plus, Spotify knew that Rogan had said “n*****” before they signed his contract.
“Let’s keep in mind, he’s been saying all of this before he got $100 million,” T-Pain said. “Everybody knew that that sh**was happening. It wasn’t like he was a small podcaster before all this sh**. All that sh**was public knowledge.”
MeidasTouch, a Leftist SuperPAC, created a video that compiles all the instances in which Rogan said “n*****” on his podcast, but in no case did he use the word to smear or insult blacks. This video sparked the current outcry.

In response, someone created a video that shows hosts on The Young Turks, a far-left talk show, repeatedly using the n-word, but the media has not called for that show’s cancellation.
